GDiapers

I was reading Inc. Magazine on Saturday morning and saw this tiny article about these diapers that are so much better for the environment than regular disposables. They are called GDiapers. Then, on Saturday afternoon while I was out shopping, I picked up a copy of some magazine that I don't even remember what it was called, but on the front it was advertising Organic Baby Showers and since I am planning my sister's baby shower, I picked it up. And viola! Guess what there was an article about!?! GDiapers! These are seriously cool! It made me so excited because I know I don't want to use cloth diapers, but I also know that disposables are so bad for the earth.Probably more expensive, but at the same time it reminds me of the African proverb on the wall at The Museum of Natural History..."We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children." When you think of it like that, a few extra dollars doesn't seem like such a bad idea.

Check it out and tell me what you think!

These actually seem nice - I would like to hear feedback on how weel they hold up with leaks first though. They are cute.

Just out of noseyness - why don't you want to use cloth ones?

Ginger cat...I think it mostly has to do with convienence (is that how you spell it?) I can't say that I don't EVER want to use them, I think I would during the nights and times that I know I will be at home, but I don't want to be out somewhere and have to carry around a poopy diaper to take home and wash. That's all. The GDiapers seem like the perfect alternative;)

Thanks for satisfying my noseyness! My blog's actually really boring, I'm doing a postgraduate course in journalism and part of the course was we had to start our own blog! They gave us the topic too, so it's not that fascinating. I think it's a public blog (?) so if you're interested, or maybe just fancy being put to sleep do have a look. It's tombethsueandcat.blogspot.com

No nice posts about shopping on it though, it's all about internet TV and local news, yawn yawn!

ginger cat... I saw your school blog and it is way-super boring. there is another blog on your profile that is blocked...probably your personal one? That's the one I want to see, if you think I'm not a crazy-person. Where are you? In the UK? And how in the world did you find me?
