Banana Bread

I made this bread today and it is mildly delicious! It makes the place smell amazing! This is my grandma's recipe. I hope it is ok to share mom!

Banana Loaf
~ Bonnie Potter~

2 eggs, unbeaten
1 square butter
1 scant cup sugar
2 cups flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
½ cup nuts (optional)
3 mashed bananas

Preheat oven to 300°. In separate bowl, combine flour, salt, soda and baking powder. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and bananas. Slowly add flour mixture. Bake in loaf pan for 40-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

*I used 4 bananas instead of 3...and I added 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the batter.

Since the snow is denying me the right to go to Nichole's baby shower tonight......I am making this instead! Seems like a good substitute to me and sounds delicious.
