If I Was in New York Today...

I would go to Macy's on 34th Street and see their annual flower show. Martha Stewart was there for the ribbon cutting and she explains... "Each year the show is scheduled to run for the week before Easter and the week after and it is truly spectacular. The main floor is filled with millions of plants having brilliant foliage and stunning blooms. Robin Hall, the creative director at Macy’s explained that there are over thirty thousand different species of exotic trees and flowering plants from six continents."

This one is my favorite. It is a fabulous, highly detailed reproduction of the historic Macy's building, created from organic plant materials by renowned artist Paul Busse.
So much cool stuff happens in New York.
