Rainy-Day Reading...

On a day like today, all I want to do is lay around with the windows open so I can hear and smell the rain and just read to my little heart's content. I went to the library a couple of weeks ago and quickly remembered why I hate the library. Knowing that I have to finish a book within the 2 week-check out causes me serious anxiety. So, I still got 2 books that were due on the 13th...yep, were due. Past tense. I still got em. I think I am just going to buy both of them on Wednesday when B&N opens!!! Wahoo! They are...

Suite Francaise which I'm about half-way through and am really, really liking.

The Poisonwood Bible haven't started it yet and probably won't before I take it back to the library, but want to after it was so highly reccomended.

I recently bought this book to take to Hawaii because this girl said it is so good and I like her alot. I'm excited to read it! I've come across 2 different articles about the author in the last week since I bought it!

And if we are talking about books I keep reading about, I have read 2 articles about this book, too, that I am interested in reading. Has anyone read it?
What are some of your favorite books? I have a little notebook I keep in my purse with pages full of books I want to read. What do I need to add to my list?

Hmm... Have you read The Time Traveler's Wife yet? I'm always hesitant to recommend books.. Everyone has such different tastes, but it appears that you and I read a lot of the same books so I'd give that one a try.. I really liked it! :)

Brown bear Brown Bear is on the top of my list. In fact I love the whole series. :) You will have to give me your list one of these days. I always swear I am going to get into reading. I did see the author of eat, pray, love on Oprah, sounds interesting.

I loved Eat Pray Love too! Hope you like it.

I like a random assortment of stuff: anything from David Sedaris, the Other Boleyn Girl, The Glass Castle (really sad but true) and Siddartha. Books I've found terribly boring: Water for Elephants, Wicked (but Loved the play) and Emperor's Children

So Katy was AMAZING! Honestly she is so so so good. IT freaks me out though to look at her. It is so crazy... to me she is that little blonde running around the house

Just finished the second book of the Sarah Agnes Prine series by Nancy E. Turner, historical fiction about settling the Arizona Territory in the late 1800's, early 1900's. One book left to go, I have loved them! i like the historically based facts you pick up through out the story. Good characters and plots. I'll have to check out Eat, Pray, Love, I haven't heard anything about it.

Carly it is Sara I found your blog and I really like it! Your posts are very interesting; I was very entertained. I have read the book you are reading, I thought it was good. Some I really like are Kite Runner, An Unaccustomed Earth, Belong to Me, A New Earth and The Alchemist. You have probably read them. I just bought The Memory Keeper's Daughter and Into the Wild; so we'll see how they are. It was fun to see you the other day. Keep up the good work on your blog!
