I got a call from my brother yesterday.  It went a little something like this...

(brinnnggg, brinnnggg) lol!

me: Hey!  What's up?

Nick: Hi!  I need your address.

me: Ok.  Why?

Nick: To send you that book.

me: .....what book.....?

Nick:  I went to the book signing you asked me to go to and I got you a signed copy.

me: WHAT!!!!????  YOU WENT????!!!!!  I never heard back from you so I didn't think you went!!!  OH MY GOSH!!!  I am so jealous  you went!!!!

Nick:  Yeah, it was fun.  There were a lot of industry people there.

me:  I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!  You are the BEST!!!

Nick:  So....can I get your address?

That's right.  I shall soon be receiving my own copy, autographed to me, that I can swoon and salivate over!  It pays to have an awesome big brother who lives in an awesome city!

The brother is coming into town today. My mom and I are going down to Vegas tonight to pick him up! Can't wait to see the guy! I love him! We have an eventful weekend planned that includes alot of sun, friends and food!

Happy Birthday!!!

Yesterday was my big brother's birthday. Nick is now 28!! What an old chap! I love him so, so much! He is the kindest, most empathatic, genuine person I know. I wish I could be more like him. I am so proud of him for who he is and what he has accomplished! How many people are you related to that are in grad school at NYU!? He is such a smary-pants! I hate living so far away from him and not seeing him everyday like I got to for 2 years. I am so excited for him to visit us in 17 days!! He has the best laugh!
