Your Vegas is Showing...

Sunday afternoon we headed down to Vegas to spend the night and do some more celebrating! We were so excited to go to Mesa Grill, a Bobby Flay resturaunt, after one of Pat's clients told him how amazing it is and I love to watch Bobby Flay on The Food Network so we were really looking forward to the meal. And all I can say is...Bobby-shmobby, and... gross. Major disappointment. I am so bothered about how much we paid for such mediocre food. There was nothing new, exciting or original about what we ordered. My Mahi-Mahi was good, but just that...good. Not great, not the best fish I've ever eaten in my life, just good. So, Bobby Flay and the Mesa Grill get a major thumbs-down! And, I want my money back Bobby!

We did go see Mystere at TI. That was probably the most entertaining 2 hours of my life! It was SSOO cool! I loved it! I can not believe how strong those acrobats are! They were doing stuff that blew me away! I want to go again!!

We woke up on Monday and hit the Bellagio buffet for breakfast... perfect! (thanks for the idea, Ashlynn). It was fantastic! I wish we would have eaten dinner there the night before instead of stupid-head Mesa Grill!

We took this picture right before we paid $8 for a 2-scoop gelato at The Venitian. What a rip-off!

On the way home I asked Pat what his favorite part was, and he said it was the new Diesel outlet where he got some pants. (He is a little high maintenace and only wears Diesel jeans.) Thank goodness there is an outlet now so we don't have to pay completely ridicuously high prices for jeans, just slightly ridiculously high prices. But, he works hard and saves up for them and it makes him happy:)

And, you can't go to Vegas without eating at In-n-Out. Is it still going to be as good when the one opens here and you can eat it whenever you want?

So glad you had a little over priced fun! That's one of the perks of living down there...so close to the action!

Wait, you're getting an In-n-Out?!?! That is my favorite place! Let me know when it opens...I'll be down the next day!

Yep, Becky, yep, we are getting an In-n-Out. I'm thinking we will probably have to camp-out overnight..the lines will be so long once it opens!!

FUN!!! I love going to Vegas for the weekend for some great shopping and (usually) good food - I won't be trying Mesa Grill anytime soon. You talked me out of it! I've never heard of it before now, but I'd rather go for Cheesecake Factory :)

In-n-Out in St. George? But we don't have a Gap, or Banana Republic, or Nordstrom, or any note-worthy clothing stores? What does that say about the lovely city (more like town)we are living in? We are fat, food driven, fashion backward hillbillies, perhaps?
Hooray for it, regardless.
