How fun would it be to be in Boston this weekend and see all the kids dressed up as their favorite characters from the book Make Way for Ducklings by Robert McCloskey for the Duckling Day Parade. The children and their families will retrace the steps of Mr. and Mrs. Mallard and their family of eight ducklings. Led by the Harvard University Marching Band, children relive the adventures of Mr. and Mrs. Mallard at Boston Common.

Our little trip up to Boston might have been the funnest trip of my life! I LOVED it there! Pat and I were convinced we were going to move there after New York... which obviously didn't happen. Boston is definitely one of my favorite cities in all America! My grandpa was born and raised there, so maybe that is why I feel a connection with that place. Anyway, maybe I should buy this book for myself....

Ok, i am a bit confused, how do you dress up like your favorite character from "make way for ducklings?" They are ALL ducks! how do you know which one is your favorite.....but i guess any excuse to get dressed up like a duck and go to boston commons is a good one. BTW...my mom is moving to boston in august!
