So Tired

Working 2 jobs sucks. Good thing tomorrow is my last day at Riverwoods Mill. And good thing that Pat is feeling better... He was so sick for the past few days. Thank goodness our doctor is so freakin' cool and will call in antibiotics without making us come in for an office visit! Maybe I can actually get real sleep now. And actually clean my house and start the laundry (I'm on my last pair of clean underwear today, I know you wanted to know that) and finish the sewing that I need to. I get to make my nephew's blessing outfit! It is going to be gorgeous... duponi silk... Haven't started it yet and I have to have it ready to take to Hawaii with me on Tuesday. Awesome. I know all you moms out there are rolling your eyes, thinking that I have know idea what real exhaustion is. It's true. I probably don't. You all amaze me! And since I am complaining... to top it all off, I stepped on the scale this morning and it is official... I am the biggest I have ever been in my life. Ever. Not cool.

First, Hawaii baby Hawaii!!! Think of how fun that will be! Lucky!

Second, Umm can I just say how impressed I am by you.. Making baby blessing outfits with dupani silk.. Damn. You're good!

Third... I absolutely hate scales they just make you feel like shit.. Yep I said it.. I know because I too am the biggest that I've ever been.. Damn desk job and not being 17 anymore does not help with my metabolism..

That's all...

Oh, and sorry for the swearing.. guess I'll have to throw in a few quarters into the swear jar.. Oh well..

ps.. Hope you just enjoyed my novel of a post.. I just had so much to share today!:)

You can be super tired without being a mom for sure - I did it for many years! I am not super tired being a mom, just feeling like I can't accomplish as much anymore.

Can't wait to hear all about Hawaii - your little blessing outfit will be fabulous I am sure.

I never step on a scale & you shouldn't either - I hate them.

p.s. I will be there for your last day .. so sad.

Hey Carly I had a little Peeksie at your blog and I had no idea you are Martha Stewart!!! Your dresses and banners are so cute! I'm sure your blessing outfit will be darling. As far as the scale goes, I obviously have no advice to give. Mine has been known to get Drop Kicked every now and then....

Hey Carly! Just checking in on the blog, I've been on a blogging strike lately. sounds like everything is going great and I'm excited for your new job! I'm impressed you're making a blessing outfit...and in duponi silk "nonetheless". Duponi silk is my absolute favorite! You'll definitely have to post that one! Have fun in Hawaii...I'm totally jealous!
