Middle East Quiz

Try doing this puzzle. You will surely be humbled! I was. I am fascinated by this part of the world and love reading about it. I just finished Three Cups of Tea after it was recommended by Kate

It is the memoir of one man's humanitarian efforts to promote education and build schools in very remote areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan during the last 15 years. It is very inspiring and edifying while still being interesting and fun to read.

Read the book- it's good. So I teach a middle east unit for 9 weeks in my class and have been to Morocco so I was pretty confident going in... but Libya, Qatar, and all the -stans really threw me! I can't wait to have my students do this! Thanks for the tip!

Wow, maybe I need to pay a little more attention to the news, or maybe the last time I looked at a map of that area of the world shouldn't have been Mr. Grisenti's (was that his name)8th grade geography class. Thank goodness Brad was here to help me.

Wow, I'll be totally honest. I got 3 right without the big red X. After getting about 10 I flat out gave up! I can't believe I graduated College let alone high school.
